This is much. Consulting

Highly professional consulting paired with the culture of Silicon Valley

Building a consulting company that combines the best of both worlds: the high professionalism and structured approach of corporates with the flexibility and innovative spirit of the start-up scene. This is the idea with which our founders Simon Stappen (l.) and Mike Schulz (r.) laid the foundation for much. in 2017.

The formula turned out to be our winning formula. In just a few years, much. has thus grown into a team of over 50 experts in automation, IT strategy and ERP implementations. Today, we proudly look at a customer base of renowned international companies of all sizes and from a wide range of industries.

Do not worry about:

Learning Portugese

Of course, we welcome it if you already speak the language of your new home. However, this is not necessary. Generally, it is only important to us that you speak another European language other than English. Apart from that, since our team has always been very international, English is the official company language.

Not having accommodation yet

When moving to a new country, there are usually 2 major challenges to overcome: Finding a job and finding an apartment. While we may not be able to help much with the latter, we can certainly give you all the time you need. You can start by working remotely from your current home country until you manage to find your new home in Lisbon.

Bureaucracy

These are the documents you need:

In the course of your move to Portugal you will need some documents. Some of them we need to set up the contract, others can be applied for after your arrival. If you have any questions about this process, we will certainly support you.

Note: The base pre-requirement for the whole process is an EU citizenship or a valid visa.

Tax Number (NIF)

The NIF (Número de Identificação Fiscal) is one of the first documents you need to apply for so that we can draw up your contract. It is also required for a number of everyday transactions in Portugal, such as opening a bank account, long-term rentals, etc.. Getting the NIF number is free and you can either apply for it in person at the closest Financas (government tax office) or via email. We might add that the Portuguese tax rate is highly advantageous – 20% flat rate for 10 years.

Social Security Number (NISS)

After the NIF, the next important document required is the Social Security Number (NISS). You can only get this after you arrive in Portugal, as one of the documents required for it is a certificate of residence. To apply for it, you need to make an appointment at the Segurança Social office.

Health Insurance

Here we offer two options: you can either be insured over the company with the public health insurance or you opt for private health insurance.
